Name: The Dark Knight Sparda
Age: Ancient, was one of the first Demon warriors, has been around since the dawn of time
Race: Demon
Affinity: Chaotic Good
Residence: Temen-ni-Gru
Battle Style: Sparda is a close-range fighter, combining Dante's pure strength with Vergil's precise, flowing movements. At long range, he is equally adept with firearms and spells.
Weapons: Sparda uses a large variety of weapons, but his main two weapons are his sword, Force Edge, and his pair of pistols, Luce and Ombra.
Good Qualities: Sparda is the ultimate Demonic warrior, a powerful swordsman, excellent marksman, master of spells, and has very high defense, considering his body is a plated exoskeleton nearly as strong as steel.
Bad Qualities: Sparda, being a full-blooded Demon, is extraordinarily weak to anything Light or Holy based. Large-caliber firearms deal extra damage, as well, as they have the power to punch through his exoskeleton and reach his softer, humanoid body underneath it.
Appearance: Sparda, in his demon form, is covered in a plated, dark purple exoskeleton, with a red gem adorning his forehead. His knees and elbows are covered with dark yellow plates, which look like skulls. His horns curve forward, almost resting on his shoulders. In his human form, he has short, silver hair, and is usually dressed in a dark purple suit, an older, Victorian style, which shows when he first arrived into the Human world.
History: Sparda was once a warrior of Mundus, Lord of the Underworld. During the war between the Underworld and the Human world, Sparda's conscience awoke, and he turned on Mundus, defeating him and his entire army. Upon his return to the Human world, Sparda sealed the doorway with his own blood, his amulet, and the blood of a priestess. Sparda left his amulet, Force Edge, Yamato, and Luce and Ombra with his wife, the mother of Dante and Vergil. Now greatly weakened, Sparda set off on his own, personal quest, to restore his Demonic power. During the journey, he sired the bloodline that would eventually lead to the birth of Nero. When Vergil and Arkham brought Temen-Ni-Gru to Earth, Sparda felt it's return, and hurried back, hoping that, perhaps, he could find his sword and amulet, and thus regain his power. He arrived too late, however; Vergil had gone to fight Mundus, and Dante had left. Ascending the tower, Sparda found that a small crack still remained, large enough so that he could force his way back into the Demon world. Once there, Sparda found a rare Artifact, the Demon's Well. It restored him to his former power, allowing him to forge new versions of the Force Edge and Luce and Ombra. He has returned to the Human world, and now seeks his sons, Vergil and Dante, wondering if the two have lived up to his legacy.
