Name: Charge Shot
Element: None
Cost: 10dp, 20dp or 30dp
Description:When equipped with his gun, Nero can charge power from his Devil Bringer into his Revolver, Blue Rose. As power flows from his demon arm to power the gun, his gun and left hand begin to glow a light blue. The longer it charges for, the brighter the glow becomes.
Once the bullets are fired, the light blue energy is transferred to the bullets wrapping around them. This demonic energy around the bullets is what makes them bigger, faster and more powerful.
These charges last for only one shot (two bullets).
Effect:Charge I (10dp) - An almost instantaneous charge, taking no longer than a second. Increases size, speed and power to 125% of usual. Can be shot rapidly one after the other, multiplying the cost, of course.
Charge II (20dp) - A short charge, taking only a few seconds. Increases size, speed and power to 150% of usual. Can penetrate weak defences; shields for example, not magically created ones.
Charge III (30dp) - A longer charge, taking a full post. Though, during this post of charging, Nero is left unprotected and can easily be hit. If he is struck, the Charge Shot is stopped immediately. Increases size, speed and power by 200% to usual. Can penetrate most defences.
History:This is one of Nero’s natural abilities. Once his Devil Bringer took form, he could feel its demonic power running through his veins. It didn’t take him long to realise that he could concentrate that power into a gunshot.
This technique has helped in a few battles, especially against certain demons with large protective shields such as
Bianco Angelos. When charged to its fullest, the bullets broke straight through the shields they used making the fight much easier.
