Description:
Nero’s physical appearance hardly changes, the only thing that does is his eye color; his glow a bright orange as opposed to his usual light blue.

However, the very big difference is what’s behind him. During this form, a large spirit-like demon arises behind him and follows him. The demon appears light blue in color and wields a spiritual version of the Yamato but much larger.

This is Nero’s demon form; however, it is interesting how Nero’s demon appears as a separate being from him as opposed to Dante or Vergil’s Devil Triggers. It is as if his demon half is somehow separate from his human half.

Good Qualities:
Nero’s demon mirrors his movements and attacks during the short time he’s there. This means that when Nero swings his left hand, the demon swings his right. This is because Nero is left-handed, yet his demon is bizarrely right-handed. This makes Nero’s attacks much harder to avoid with both weapons attacking at once, and the huge demon has a longer reach than Nero could usually achieve with his sword.

While in this form, Nero is also granted a rapid healing ability. His wounds heal much quicker than usual making him quite hard to kill. Obviously, having his head chopped off and other such injuries can not be healed. He can just grow a new head. If the blow would instantly kill him, he will die. If it would normally take time for him to bleed out and die, than this ability prevents it.

Also, during the time that Nero is charging his Blue Rose gun for a more powerful shot, spirit swords spiral around him to protect him from harm. These appear as blue, much like the demon. Due to these coming from Yamato’s power, it’s no surprise to see that these are the same spirit swords Vergil once used in combat.

Drawbacks:
If Yamato is somehow taken from Nero’s Devil Bringer, the form will immediately come to an end. The sword is this form’s source of power – without it, the form can not be used in any way.

Nero's Devil Trigger takes a lot of energy to do, and so, can not be used very often - can only be used once per topic.

History:
Nero first discovered this Devil Trigger form when he came into contact with the legendary sword Yamato. It was broken at the time. But the power of his demon arm, the Devil Bringer, used its power to restore the blade to its former glory. With this powerful weapon close by, the Devil Bringer then absorbed the Yamato and all its power. Nero, currently unsure of what was happening; felt a surge of power as Yamato’s power was merged with his own. And that was when he took this new form.

Perhaps he had it in him to do this before. But with all that power transferred into his body at once, it was triggered automatically. Now that he knows he has this incredible power, Nero can trigger this form at will… Providing he had Yamato…
